I'm able to reproduce this bug with both Natty's stock 2.6.38-11-generic kernel, as well as with the 2.6.39-02063904-generic kernel fron oneiric that I need to run in order to prevent random lockups. (I've filed a sperate bug report for that one.)
I ran apport-collect with the stock kernel for this report. I also put the computer through a sleep/wake cycle and attempted to ajust the screen brightness before running apport-collect, in the hopes that something worthwhile would show up in the logs. I'll be happy to run apport-collect on a freshly-booted machine, if it looks like that will be a helpful reference. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/832483 Title: Toshiba R835-P56X - screen brightness control does not work after suspend/resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/832483/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
