I'm able to reproduce this bug with both Natty's stock 2.6.38-11-generic
kernel, as well as with the 2.6.39-02063904-generic kernel fron oneiric
that I need to run in order to prevent random lockups. (I've filed a
sperate bug report for that one.)

I ran apport-collect with the stock kernel for this report. I also put
the computer through a sleep/wake cycle and attempted to ajust the
screen brightness before running apport-collect, in the hopes that
something worthwhile would show up in the logs. I'll be happy to run
apport-collect on a freshly-booted machine, if it looks like that will
be a helpful reference.
