Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager-openvpn

I tried to use the openvpn plugin to connect to a server. It works well except
that the entries in /etc/resolv.conf are wiped out. My openvpn server doesn't
push dns options and should not push dns options. So normal Internet doesn't
work any more after connecting to the vpn - not very nice.
It would be nice if you could select if the dns options should be taken from
vpn server or if dns options should be kept as they have been.

The workaround with adding prepend domain-name-servers does not work for
openvpn.

** Affects: network-manager-openvpn (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
