** Summary changed:

- had ubuntu 10 then did a complete new install of ubuntu 11... I ran updates 
and everything on the older and managed to get wireless connection. Now I do 
the same things for 11 and cannot get a connection. It shouldnt be this hard to 
just frickin connect to the frickin internet. I have a dell d600 and am about 
to SWITCH BACK TO MS XP!!!
