Matt: looking at your error message I would say you have not loaded the module
("/sbin/modprobe dm-raid4-5"), have you? What's the output of dmesg and lsmod?
I'm currently working on a Ubuntu 7.04 based LiveCD with dmraid45 support - but
it's way to big (>800mb) and doesn't fit on a cd ... if it's done I will try
find a place
from where you guys can download it.
