Tried the following in an attempt to change the key binding of the switcher:
- Open Compiz configuration settings manager (A "CCSM closed unexpectedly" message comes up, but it still seems to work) - Under the 'Switcher' tab of the Unity plugin entry, change the 'Key to start the switcher' property to '<Control>tab' - Exit CCSM Result: <Control>tab starts the switcher (with application icons) and allows you to cycle through them. as with <Alt>tab prior to the update., as you would expect. However, pressing <Alt> on it's own still brings up the switcher with the current window shown as a thumbnail window/preview (not an application icon). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/835699 Title: Unity window switcher takes over <alt> key To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/835699/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
