Public bug reported:
Oneiric Ocelot will NOT boot on Lenovo SL500 laptop and an old HP
desktop. After white/orange dotted animation, you get a message:
starting kernel oops [ok], a few more lines and then a hanging black
screen. Holding power button a few seconds gives a screen with more
details on the lines above and suggests to remove CD and press ENTER.
ENTER has no effect, so another power button press powers the PC down.
I noticed kernel version is 3.0 which makes me wonder about x.0
buggyness in the software realm.
