Just for the record, what version of usbmount are you people using? Or are you having problems with mounting USB devices (which is a completely different issue from having the *package* usbmount failing to recognize devices)?
usbmount relies on the kernel/udev to do its job and, generally, problems with usbmount are not really directly usbmount problems. Just for the record #2, in a general, vanilla {K,X,L,}Ubuntu system, you wouldn't have usbmount installed unless you install it explicitly, as usbmount is a lower level program meant for minimalistic/embedded/headless systems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/438488 Title: USB Devices only recognised on startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usbmount/+bug/438488/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
