My network card blinking its' head off is a bit strange... but at least the instructions in this bug report allow my wireless card to connect to my WPA network. Isn't the network manager supposed to use wpa_supplicant if necessary to achieve a connection?
Here, I'm using Wifi Radar to kinda work through the management of my wireless card, but it isn't an optimal solution. I'm not certain who to blame here though, the wireless card drivers or the network manager "giving up", -- WPA not available from Network Manager, but works from cmdline wpa_supplicant https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/105858 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
