Public bug reported:

I don't know if this is the right place to report this.
It is an upstream problem which I already reported here:

https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41972

But with yet no answer at all.

I can not boot the system with 3.1 kernel if IWLAGN module is enabled. It
worked fine with the 3.0 kernel series. Also if I blacklist the IWLAGN module I
can also boot with no problem into the 3.1 RC 4 kernel.

Test machine:
Dell XPS L502x Laptop (It is a new Intel Sandy Bridge system)
Kernel was downloaded from Ubuntu repos. I used the latest RC4:
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41972
I used Ubuntu Oneiric.

lspci:
03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless-N 1030 (rev 34)

I enclosed a screenshot when the machine is frozen. (sorry but i was not able
to get a kernel log saved)

I think it is a serious regression.

Thank you,

Alan
