I'd just like to point out that this issue had been open for almost four years, and this whole time the Ubuntu support team was (and still is) quite capable of 'investigating the problem' by installing the release in which the problem was reported and reproducing via the steps to reproduce we provided in the issue. The problem didn't seem to be wireless adapter chipset-specific, or at least you could have ruled that out had you tried it yourself. You then could have tried it on later releases to identify if it had been fixed already once you knew how to reproduce it.
But, this all doesn't really matter as I gave up using Ubuntu because of a number of other bugs that never seemed to get resolved :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150825 Title: Wireless settings aren't saved To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-system-tools/+bug/150825/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
