I am still not sure if suspend has just gotten much more unreliable on
my laptop in 11.10 or if it is an artifact of the missing "lid close"
option/functionality. I did find this script
http://fedora.rasmil.dk/blog/?p=208 that adds gsettings for lid close
actions. This seems to effect gnome-power-managers actions on lid close,
but suspend still seems less reliable than < 11.10. By unreliable I mean
sometimes I have a normal suspend, then at times it tries to suspend,
but the screen back-light, disk, fan stay running, but the desktop does
lock, wifi disconnects and goes to a blank screen.
