Hi Dave, I've forwarded your bug upstream to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40527. Please subscribe to that bug report in case upstream needs further information or wishes you to test something. Thanks ahead of time!
Fwiw, several other people have reported bugs with DPMS-related issues on gm45 within the past couple weeks, so I'm suspecting there might have been a regression in a kernel introduced around that time. What I think we need is to know how people can more reliably reproduce the bug, so git bisection might become feasible. ** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 832733 [gm45] GPU lockup render.IPEHR: 0x01800002 after logging out/in ** Bug watch added: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #40527 http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40527 ** Also affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel via http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40527 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/834603 Title: [gm45] GPU lockup render.IPEHR: 0x01800002 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/834603/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
