Thanks for confirming it still happens.  Can you also answer my earlier
questions?

A GPU lockup typically involves the system being locked up hard - mouse
pointer may move, but is totally unresponsive otherwise and you have to
power cycle the machine. Did that happen? I ask because sometimes there
are "fake" lockups, where the video driver is able to immediately
recover - it trips the crash detector but your system is otherwise fine.

If you do have real lockups and have seen them recently, about how often
does it seem to occur - like every time right after starting up the
Ubuntu Unity desktop environment, or only after some period of use, or
randomly?
