Daniel, I like the front on view as that matches many of the existing icons.
On the other hand, the original bug report was about how unclear the extremely small app icons floating above the bag are. I'd like to see those bigger and overflowing like the previous USC logo. When I go shopping, I don't have stuff floating in the air and a bright white light streaming out of the bag but I may have my bag overflowing because there's so much good stuff to get and I can only carry a few bags! Remember that we need icons that look good and are clear at multiple sizes.
