Public bug reported:

I understand there is a problem convincing Epson to support Linux
distros. (Shame, shame on them ! I also doubt if I could change their
ways) I am very enthused about my new Feisty Fawn 10.2 and want to
keep using it. Here's a big attaboy for you, Ubuntu !

Can't seem to find any help in Synaptic... My hardware manager sees the
V350 but isn't activating it. (I do a lot of photo scanning...Scanner
works with dual-boot Windows XP Pro.)

is there any other software that will help me, here,? Is my only
option to dig down deep for a new, supported scanner?

I appreciate you good people spoon feeding this Linux newbie !

** Affects: Ubuntu
