I don't see any problem here.
If you're still able to look at this again, please see the
"mydestination" parameter and you'll see that "$mydomain" will much
probably be one of its entries.
Would you please post the results of a "postconf -n" command prior to
the change and after the change, so we'll be able to look at this
carefuly?
