Public bug reported:

Whenever I watch a movie or try to compile something for more than few
minutes, the cpu reaches 100C and the laptop shuts down. When idle, the
cpu temperature is usually around 65C. My laptop is HP Pavilion dv4000.
I am running Feisty. Also, $cat
/proc/acpi/thermal_zone/THR0/polling_frequency tells me that polling is
disabled. $cat trip_points says:

critical (S5): 100 C
passive: 95 C: tc1=2 tc2=5 tsp=300 devices=0xdf838e50

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
