Hi Alanwww1,

For the upcoming 11.10 Oneiric release, we are targeting the v3.0
kernel. As we're still focusing on the Oneiric release, the bleeding
edge v3.1 kernel is not officially supported at this time. I'd
encourage you to work with upstream on this issue. I'd suggest first
looking at http://wireless.kernel.org/ first to see about testing the
latest compat-wireless stack to make sure this isn't already fixed,
http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Download#Where_to_download_bleeding_edge
. If the issue remains, there is an upstream mailing list which has more
visibility to the upstream developers
http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Download#Bugs . Thanks in advance.
We really appreciate early adopters like yourself for finding the bugs
early and bringing them to attention so that they are resolved in any
future Ubuntu releases.
