Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20

New Toshiba M400 with Core2Duo [EMAIL PROTECTED]

$ cat /proc/acpi/processor/CPU?/throttling
<not supported>
<not supported>

The Ondemand speed govenor is throttling the cores to 1Ghz and the fans
work so it's not overheating, but it would be preferable to have it
scale properly with powernowd.

$ powernowd
Found 2 scalable units: -- 1 'CPU' per scalable unit
cpu0: 1000Mhz - 65535Mhz (5 steps)
cpu1: 1000Mhz - 65535Mhz (5 steps)

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
