This is not a duplicate of bug #779156.
#779156 has reported that chromium uses xdg-mail and xdg-mime
incorrectly when in Lubuntu. Patches have been generated to fix the
problem only in these two scripts.
In this bug, the problem is within xdg-open, when attempting to open a
filesystem path using the filemanager. The same form of fix as in the
other bug needs applying, but to xdg-open.
Please ensure the fix is also applied to xdg-open.
