I am trying to compile with the -m32 option and get the following error:

/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.5.2/libstdc++.so when
searching for -lstdc++
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.5.2/libstdc++.a when searching
for -lstdc++
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lstdc++
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [all] Fehler 1

I have the ia32-libs installed and the ldconfig -v posts the libraries,
but they are not used or tried.

Is this related to this bug?
