1. Which Ubuntu release are you using? Since you said the Japanese language support is still 6.06, are you using 6.10 (edgy) or 7.04 (feisty)? 2. What language are you trying to input with scim? Japanese? Does that mean you are using scim-anthy? 3. What is your scim configuration? Please paste or attach the output of "/usr/share/bug/scim/script 3>&1". 4. Are you using im-switch? Do you have im-switch package installed?
