** Summary changed: - Firefox does not restart when closed and reopened immediately + Firefox does not start ** Description changed: Binary package hint: firefox - Very often when I close and immediately restart Firefox, it doesn't - start. The task appears in the Gnome taskbar saying "Starting firefox", - but after a while the process dies without ever showing the main window - of the application. + Very often Firefox refuses to start. The task appears in the Gnome + taskbar saying "Starting firefox", but after a while the process dies + without ever showing the main window of the application. - Sometimes it takes two or three attempts to restart it successfully. - This happens especially when I restart it immediately, it never happened - if I wait a few seconds between close and restart. But it also happens - when I try to start Firefox while waiting for something else to startup - (i.e. I click on Amarok, then on Firefox before Amarok has finished - loading). + Sometimes it takes two or three attempts to start it successfully.
