I do believe it is the same underlying problem. Cancellation of the
copy/configuration stage of ubiquity basically doesn't work properly.
Yes, there's more than one aspect to this, but it's basically due to the
same bug.
Yuri: with all due respect, I do believe that I have sufficient
installer experience to distinguish between one installer bug and
another. :-)
