After pulling the latest updates, I get this behaviour also. NotifyOSD did not change and only displays what it gets send from another process. So the process sending out the notification is passing something wrong. If in doubt see the examples notify-osd/examples/icon-value.c (or icon- value.py) for a demonstration how to correctly use the current libnotify-API.
Earlier in this cycle I've see libnotify behaving differently for passing hints to notifications. Be sure to always set values for any hint you send. This could be a cause for the wrong display of the volume. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/840971 Title: volume changes work correctly but the OSD always shows full volume and "plips" at the same level To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-sound/+bug/840971/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
