James, This bug have been fixed in the proposed version of Unity in
Ubuntu 11.04 you can follow these intructions
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for how to enable the
proposed repository. If you dont feel strong about it you can wait for
the release to actually hit your download mirror by the end of this week
