Just FYI : there is still some work going on this here : https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=540873 The roadmap (https://live.gnome.org/Banshee/Roadmap) has been changed recently and the patch is currently planned for inclusion in 2.4, which probably means ubuntu 12.04 as version 2.2 of banshee will be included in 11.10
