Thanks for the additional testing. This indeed doesn't sound like a
kernel issue now that you've additionally confirmed that suspend is
working properly with a clean Oneiric Beta-1 image. The question is now
to figure out how your installed system has diverged and is different
from a pristine Oneiric Beta-1 image. For now I'm going to move this
away from the linux kernel package.
