Public bug reported:

When disk usage was 100% my settings in seamonkey, gedit, qjackctl,
ardour and many others gone!!! I removed unnessesary files, now I have
500MB free but settings are still gone and I now I've got a big f*
problem. Why there's no notification for ex. "your disk is full, in next
seconds your data will be loss and you will be very pissed of so throw
away unneeded files!"?!?! Or maybe it'll be good to fix this issue that
I will not have to reconfigure my whole system just because my disk was
full for few minutes? :| Where are my settings? :(((((

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
