Public bug reported:

After updating a fully functional (That is no problems to report) Ubuntu
6.10 to Ubuntu 7.04, I found that when I want to use X11 remotely from
my Macbook Pro with Spanish keyboard (Using Apple's X11) the keymaps are
broken, and it's impossible to type anything. This happens when using
Xnest or using nxserve to access gnome.

I beleive the problem is in gnome, because if I launch xterm or gedit
from the remote ssh shell, they keyboard map is fine (Or at least
workable, there is is still and issue with Alt-Gr and gedit). When I
launch Xnest my keyboard works fine in order to enter my password and
loging using XDMCP, but once in Gnome it stops working.

I have been able to get something half-working. By doing 'xmodmap -pke >
map' on the shell and then 'xmodmap map' once in a Gnome session.

As I said this was working well out of the box in 6.10, so I am assuming
so change done in Feisty has broken this.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
