It's used on a game mod compilation (BiG World Project for Baldur's Gate
2).

To test the error you can download this:
http://www.shsforums.net/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=976

Unzip, open a console and:
bin\mosunpack.exe -f -o language\english\moz\worldmap_small.mos 
language\english\moz\worldmap_small.moz

It will fail on the shared folder and run on the on hardisk file.
