Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: lm-sensors

Hi,

I run sensors-detect and the result was to modprobe the i2c_i801
(and the eeprom). Done this, reboot, and run sensors that says:
$ sensors
No sensors found!
Make sure you loaded all the kernel drivers you need.
Try sensors-detect to find out which these are.

But if I run gkrellm I have 3 temperature sensors. And the
gnome-sensor-applet does show those 3. But sensors, xsensors
and the xfce4-sensor-applet obviously can't show them on my
ICH6 Laptop. Everything needed is loaded (and working see gkrellm)
$ lsmod | grep i2c
i2c_dev                 8708  0
i2c_ec                  5888  1 sbs
i2c_i801                9356  0
i2c_core               22784  4 eeprom,i2c_dev,i2c_ec,i2c_i801

Would be nice to have those temperature sensors running with
the xfce-applet.

Thanks anyway
Dan
