Public bug reported:

On AMD64, fully up to date.

In a bash shell window.

Normally, control-arrow (left or right) jumps the cursor 1 word. This is
now broken, there is an error beep and this is what I get if I type "ls"
space "-al" space "toto" ctrl-LeftArrow

$ ls -al toto;5D

This problem exists since the upgrade to Feisty. It's very annoying but
not preventing me from appreciating the great work that the Ubuntu team
is doing.

I only wish I could help myself!

Cheers,
GF.
