Public bug reported:

I have Ubuntu 10.4 64 bits running on a Casio Qosmio X505, this model comes
with Windows 7 originally which includes a 'toshiba ECO mode ' which reduces
the battery consumed by the system.
How ever I found that this function affects some of my hardware performance
under the Ubuntu partition.
In order to make my microphone and bluetooth be recognized in ubuntu I need to
boot into Windows, activate the "eco" mode and then reboot into ubuntu.
So everytime I boot I have to first boot into windows and activate this, which
is very time consuming and annoying. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Thanks
