OK, this time I see no checkbox-related errors, but the update process
fails because of a problem starting samba:

Configurazione di samba (2:3.5.8~dfsg-1ubuntu2.3)...
start: Job failed to start
invoke-rc.d: initscript nmbd, action "start" failed.
dpkg: errore nell'elaborare samba (--configure):
il sottoprocesso vecchio script di post-installation ha restituito lo stato
di errore 1

It looks like there may be some configuration problems with your samba
installation. I'd advise you to verify your samba configuration, make
sure you can stop and start it correctly:

sudo service smbd restart
sudo service nmbd restart

Once you get that working, you could try the update again. If samba
fails to start, you'd need to verify your configuration to determine
why.

I'll await your results to determine what to do next, but it doesn't
look like an actual problem in checkbox.
