Public bug reported: I only use my windows live account on empathy and all of the sudden my contacts don't show, i'm still logged on and i'm connected but I just don't have contacts. like someone just deleted everyone. The offline contacts option doesn't do the least change.
Restarting the program doesn't work, restarting the computer doesn't work. This problem even happened before I reinstalled ubuntu (I had the same OS as now, and the problem happened then too). I'm not much of an expert in fixing problems on the computer so I don't know what to do ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: empathy 2.34.0-0ubuntu3.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-11.49~ppa1~loms~natty-generic 2.6.38.8 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-11-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Sep 16 16:47:07 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release i386 (20110427.1) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_US:en LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: empathy UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: empathy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 natty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/851962 Title: MSN contacts don't show even after restart To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/851962/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
