I had this error too... I did a search in synaptic and saw python-dict. I decided it might of been corrupted so I removed it completely. I then went to add it back in, and it didn't show up in my search. So I guess there is a package in edgy-eft called python-dict that no longer exists in feisty fawn. It didn't get removed during the upgrade though (or at least was not removed successfully.
Also--now that I removed python-dict, I no longer get the error.
