Thank you for reporting this problem.
To be able to trouble shoot the problem further I would ask that you
please include the following information:
- Version of Ubuntu and architecture
- All steps taken to reproduce the bug
- Type of interface (Unity etc.)
- Type of disk (USB, Firewire, hard drive, flash etc)
It would also be very helpful if you could run the following command in
a terminal just after you have inserted the disk
dmesg > bug851365-dmesg.txt
If you are connecting your device by using USB then please also execute
the following command in a terminal after inserting the USB disk:
lsusb > bug851365-lsusb.txt
These commands will produce text files which you can attach to this bug
report.
If the instructions seem unclear please don't hesitate to contact us
