Public bug reported:

I went to ccsm, then to the Unity settings. Seeing as I wanted the super
key to open the launcher instead of the dash, I disabled the "key to
show launcher" function (which rather than showing the launcher, shows
the dash) and put "key to put keyboard-focus on launcher" to the super
key. The launcher extracts when the super key is pressed. The arrow keys
work fine. The mouse, however, requires to be on the upper half of the
picture or lower half of the above picture to be selected. Tested on
three computers.

Running Ubuntu 11.04, software centre says "0.9.4-0ubuntu2
(compizconfig-settings-manager)" in regard to compiz.
