After updating the packages and rebooting today unity crashed. Neither
the top panel nor the launcher may be invoked. The desktop background
works. I had to start the terminal in order to start the browser. I
can't start the panel or the dash using the windows button. The short
cuts don't work. It looks like a complete crash. I have added a
screenshot.
