I have exactly the same problem with virtually the same log file. I have found no way to get Feisty to recognize the Parallel port Zip Drive. It worked like a dream under Edgy. Is this a bug in an updated ppa or what. Has anyone successfully completed this under Feisty or are there too few of us dinosaurs out there?
