I installed UEC on two machines following
https://help.ubuntu.com/11.04/serverguide/C/uec.html just as I'd done
with 10.04. Confirming everything worked, I performed apt-get update and
apt-get upgrade. dpkg hangs on "start/running eucalyptus" and must be
killed manually or the system restarted. I reformatted the machines and
tried again, this time running "sudo service eucalyptus start CLEAN=1"
before performing the upgrade. The issue did no resolve.
