Unfortunately there aren't enough details here for us to do anything to fix the
problem. If you still experience it, please reopen the report with answers to
these questions:
1. What is slow, exactly? Does the problem occur just with VLC, or anything you
try to install?
2. How long does it take? (Time it with a stopwatch.)
