Hi Eirik and thanks for reporting this bug. Have you tested both
headphones and internal speakers, and they're both broken?
Please run this terminal command:
pasuspender -- speaker-test -c 2 -D plughw:PCH -t sine
And verify it is not working on either headphones nor internal speakers.
If it does work, please supply a PulseAudio log (
wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log ), if it doesn't, please try an older
kernel and see if that helps. Thanks!
