Public bug reported:

Hi,
I'm running Kubuntu 7.04 as guest in VMware Workstation 6.0 RC with vmware
tools installed and up-to-date. All works fine but I got a strange behaviour if
I reverse the mouse buttons from the control panel (System Settings->Keyboard
and mouse->Mouse->Left Handed). It seems that each button is sending both a
left and a right click or something like and in the end the mouse becomes
unusable. The only way to get out is restoring the Right Handed setting by
using the keyboard.
The xorg.conf file has the following section related to the mouse driver:

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Configured Mouse"
Driver "vmmouse"
Option "CorePointer"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "Protocol" "imps/2"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "true"
EndSection

This doesn't happen neither in Kubuntu 6.10 nor in Ubuntu (Gnome) 7.04.
Is this problem related to the guest OS or to the mouse driver ?
Any Idea ?
