** Description changed:

the Unity interface is a major change to how users use their desktops.

For this ubuntu has always included "by default" a visible help icon
shortcut, which introduced ubuntu and most of the desktop environment to
the user (today this is called the "ubuntu-desktop-guide" package)

while, is still installed, it is now hidden... only already savvy users
(which dont need it) are the ones that know where it is.

users new to unity (or new users to linux and ubuntu in general), do not
know where to look or where to start.

The help icon needs to be added back as a default item in the launcher
(prior to unity it was a visible shortcut in the panel).

Education is key when using something new (specially something as
complex as ubuntu/linux) and this is a good start.

+ And when the user has learn to use his new OS and doesnt need the help
+ shortcut anymore, is just as easy to remove it.
+
note: will add some pics for reference in the comments.
