Yes, the problem is still there in Libre Office.
Example:
Help->LibreOffice Help
Select "Libreoffice Basic" in drop-down box in upper left
Search for "if statement"
Scroll to example code at the end of the page. The indentation, which
presumably was there in the original documentation format, has been
lost.
