Your printer got automatically set up with a PostScript driver. Is your
printer actually a PostScript printer? Can you change it to a PCL
driver? In system-config-printer right-click the printer's icon, choose
"Properties", click "Change" button for make and model, try

- Samsung ML-2570 Foomatic/pxlmono
- Generic PCL-5e printer Foomatic/hpijs-pcl5e

How do these work? If both work, which one works better for you?
