Another use case... 1) open thunderbird 2) create a new message 3) switch to firefox 4) click on thunderbird icon in the launcher to come back to thunderbird
Result: - thunderbird main window appears. You have to click again in the icon in launcher to get the choice between the two windows, then double click on new message window, to be able to go on with your ongoing work in thunderbird... Expected result: - the last active window in the thunderbird group is shown, that is the message you're currently editing. In fact this in not directly related to minimizing or not, so I'll edit the bug title... ** Summary changed: - Launcher - Unity launcher shows windows in the order they were minimized. It should be the reverse. + Launcher - Unity launcher should show the last active window of a group on top when the group icon is clicked. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/814598 Title: Launcher - Unity launcher should show the last active window of a group on top when the group icon is clicked.
