This is possibly due to an issue at the network level, for instance with the router. Please see if when you're connected and the traffic no longer passes, what goes in and out of each interface eth0 and wlan0:
sudo tcpdump -i wlan0 sudo tcpdump -i eth0 I think you'll be able to see traffic going out of eth0, and back in through wlan0 which would be incorrect. ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/850544 Title: Internet stops working when connected through wifi To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/850544/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
